If you are a resident Canadian hunter and you have a bear hunting license, a hotel or motel may be the right accommodation choice for you. It is recommended that you contact the hotel or motel to make a reservation prior to coming to the area and make sure they cater to bear hunters. There is a wide variety of accommodations to choose from in Sunset Country so you should be able to find the hotel or motel room that suits your taste and budget. Most non-residents hunting bear in Ontario will be required to use the services of a tourist outfitter who is licensed to provide black bear hunting services. However, resident hunters often enjoy the convenience and flexibility that staying in a hotel or motel offers.
